We have just finished having our new kitchen worktops transformed into a fabulously stylish look with the new granite overlays from Trend. We were very fortunate to have Sam Martin from Head Office leading the refurbishment and particularly want to thank him for the attention to detail including some of the tricky areas. No regrets at all over choosing this way to breathe new life into our old worktops and the whole kitchen as a result. The photos below show a before and after shot of the main kitchen

Don't touch this company with a bargepole! We paid our deposit [50% of the price of the work - 1750 in our case] at the time of ordering. It took 5 months for the work to be completed. They do not keep in touch and don't return phonecalls or answer emails. They say they haven't received your emails, there's something wrong with the phone line etc etc. Endless excuses.
They promise fitting 6 weeks after you've paid the deposit but then tell you your worktops haven't arrived and it will be an additional 4 weeks before they'll be here. Then after you've waited an additional 4 weeks they still don't have them and tell you it will be another 4 weeks. At this point I decided to cancel and was promised I'd receive a refund of the deposit within 2 weeks.
I finally received the refund 2 MONTHS after asking for it and after many texts, voicemails and emails which weren't answered along with pathetic excuses as to why the refund had not been paid when I did manage to make contact. We ordered new doors too which should also have been fitted 6 weeks after we paid the deposit. Again Peter Mair of Granite Transformations told us they hadn't arrived when they were due.
After 10 WEEKS they said they had the doors so I asked for a date to get them fitted. The date was fixed and then I was told the ones that had arrived were the wrong colour and it could be up to 6 weeks to get them replaced but they would try to get them in 2 weeks. It actually took over 2 months. When they came to fit them they were the wrong colour again - they hadn't checked before they picked them up.
They make arrangements to carry out work and cancel at the last minute with no apology. When they do condescend to come they arrive very late without letting you know and with no consideration for other arrangements you have made [and told them about] and no apology or explanation. When you mention it they try to make you feel as though you are being unreasonable.
In particular don't trust a man called Peter Mair from Bathgate. His incompetence is breathtaking but he is also inconsiderate, disrespectful, disorganised and very unprofessional. I didn't realise this was a franchise at first but after I first posted my review the parent company contacted me for more details which I willingly provided. I never heard back from them so I can only assume this standard of service is normal for all franchisees.
