My elderly parents had a kitchen fitted last year. I'm writing this review because they were upset so much by the constant lies and being consistently brushed off. Link were a disgrace throughout. It started off great when I went with them to the Wilmslow showroom. The salesman offered plenty of suggestions and when he came and measured/etc they were really excited to get their new kitchen.
They were spending a lot on it, so I was expecting it to be great. The issues started when the surveyor said they couldn't have a few things they'd been promised moving around the kitchen slightly. They also ended up arguing about things 'not being included', which I know wasn't the case, as I was there! The fitting started on time, however the fitter left such a mess with offcuts/scraps/etc that I had to go around and completely filled their wheelie bin.
Given their age it was lucky I live near enough although for what they paid, this was terrible. There were several issues that fell outside of the fitting, including pieces of the wood that didn't match in colour, however the fitter said he'd get them replaced. It took weeks of calling the head office, which in the end the people answering the phones weren't passing on messages and refused to let my parents talk to someone in charge.
The completely lack of regard of Link Design for their customers upset my parents so much they couldn't deal with them any longer. My father was nearing a breakdown. In the end they were so upset, I had to call up and sort it out, which in itself took an additional week and a half.
