We supply a design and fitting service across most of England for our bespoke kitchens.The 'Fit your own freestanding units' range encompasses a wide and varied range of units in an array of sizes. They have been selected to be adaptable to many different shapes of kitchen and provide a flexible but affordable option to create a stylish and homely kitchen.

Services
Murdoch Troon Kitchens are a family company based in Lincolnshire producing high-quality bespoke pine kitchens with hardwood worktops. The primary concern of our company is customer service, and right from the first meeting we offer a warm friendly no pressure experience. Because of the quality of our furniture, and our reasonable prices, we have no need for pushy sales tactics to sell our products. Our prices can compete with mainstream companies who produce flat-packed MDF/chipboard kitchen units than our own handmade solid wood kitchens.
Bespoke freestanding kitchen units designed, produced and installed to form the kitchen you want. We fit these kitchens across most of England, call if you have any questions we like to talk. Average cost is between 7,000 and 18,000 with most kitchens falling within this price range. The price includes us producing a hand drawn design, all units, solid hardwood worktops, installation (including plumbing in the sink and taps) and VAT. The examples of our kitchens below will give you an idea of the style of kitchen we can produce.
Large family kitchens are often the social hub of the house and we are able to produce the furniture to make this possible. Our kitchens provide a relaxed homely environment while ensuring it maintains the necessary storage and workspace to be a workable kitchen. These kitchens are typically priced between 10,000 and 18,000.
Our traditional country style furniture marries in well with the rustic nature and features of many barn and farmhouse kitchens. The use of distressed oak beams in the extractor housings can provide a focal point which blends well in these surroundings, with the extra height added to the units meaning they are in proportion with the high ceilings and vast spaces often present in these kinds of buildings. Extra worktop space is also provided by the wide array of central island units and preparation tables we can produce.

Where to begin. Honestly we couldn't recommend Murdock Kitchens anymore highly! The service they provided truly fantastic, from Carl to Ben to the fitters we couldn't be happier. The service was professional, friendly - they went truly above and beyond. We originally had Carl visit over a year ago to design our kitchen. We had previously had Wrens, Wickes, Howdens before I found Murdock kitchens through Pinterest.
Unfortunately none of the companies listed could see my 'Country vision'. On Carl's arrival I explained my vision briefly and he instantly understood what I wanted and drew the plan out. Carl was able to discuss functional practical aspects i.e. having the sink on the end of the island to guide our decision. We paid the deposit and unfortunately had to put the kitchen and utility back two months (as our floor wasn't ready) - Carl went above and beyond to switch us around with another of his customers (as they were fully booked until September). Carl came over 6 weeks prior to the installation and spent the morning going over everything.
I could arguably be classed as a 'Fussy' customer - I described a specific colour I wanted for the main kitchen colours - he showed me a colour that wasn't on the normal list, to make sure I was happy with our decision. I grilled poor Carl with around 25 questions that I had been compiling - he put my mind at rest for each one and offered advice for anything I wasn't sure about.
The fitters came and within two days of seriously hard work they had installed our beautiful kitchen and utility - to say we were blown away was an understatement. They went above and beyond helping with pipe work, skirting board etc. Both days they worked until 9pm to get the job done. On the first day we noticed a couple of the doors were not exactly right - amazingly they had made, painted and refitted them by the next day!
We have since called Carl to ask if we could have an additional hooks for our mugs added to our coffee bar area - Carl has said he will sort this out for us as soon as he can. He has also said this is free of charge! We couldn't love our kitchen and utility anymore than we do. It took 2 years of planning - we utterly love what they created for us! Thank you again to the Murdock Team!

Having bought 4 kitchens for various houses in the last 3 years ( I'm a property developer ) I can honestly say that Murdoch Troon are great.! From start to finish the service and product are second to none and at a price not far off flat pack rubbish that you then have to pay to get fitted. keep up the good work and see you for kitchen 5 soon.

What more can I say! From start to finish the entire process was professional and the quality of the Kitchen is outstanding. We had just purchased a house where the whole kitchen had to be gutted and replaced. Carl from Murdoch troon was fantastic turning his initial designs into reality. We decided to go with Lincolnshire East coast blue for the colour of the kitchen and pewter knobs to compliment.
We also purchased some free standing furniture at the same time, a larder unit and two pieces of furniture for our hall way. Everyone who comes to our home compliments us on it. From initial contact we are delighted with the service provided. The survey was carried out with measurements and advice. The service provided was very professional and dates given were arranged to suit. The installation was carried out by a team who worked relentlessly to finish work to a very high standard. From the moment we saw the Murdoch Troon display in Boston no other kitchen company could match their quality and style at a reasonable cost. Design and advice was given in a friendly professional manner without any pressure to buy. The installation team arrived on time and did a superb job, efficient and tidy. In fact the genuine service from everyone involved made the whole experience of installing a new kitchen stress free.
