I am pleased with the end result but not with the extra money I ended up paying on top. On selling us the kitchen complete project management was offered we agreed to use their builder to remove wall between kitchen and dining room and quoted a price between 200-500 if no RSJ needed putting in and anything upto 1000 if RSJ needed. Kitchen fitting was taking place 17th of Jan and arranged in September time.
Between then and 6th Jan nobody got in touch about removing the wall even though I was calling chasing it up. Builder phoned me on 6th Jan saying he coming on 10th to remove (a week before fitting) and charged me 980 even though no RSJ needed. The fitters turned up on the 17th to their surprise our existing kitchen was still in place and they had apparently been told it was going to be removed before they arrived and had to pay them 450 extra to remove it even though at sale point we was told all that was included and all we had to sort was the skip for rubbish removal.
The communication between direct kitchens to us and their fitters/ builders is non existent after you are sold the kitchen. I would not use again or recommend to anyone. On the plus side the fitters did a great job and was fitted to a professional standard.

Previously had a kitchen fitted 10 yrs ago and was very happy with the install and follow up. Just had an office fitted in the study and again more than happy with the overall package. Matt and Jack did a fantastic job of the install, accommodated the changes we asked for and offered a few great ideas with the little details that make all the difference. 10 out of 10.many thanks

I would highly recommend Direct Kitchens. They did a brilliant job from start to finish. All plastering and electrics done to a great standard prior to fitting. Jordan and James the fitters were friendly and professional and did an amazing job. Very reasonable price for a high quality kitchen. Overall, very happy and definitely recommend Direct Kitchens.

Tried to get a quote for a kitchen island and in all honesty it was a waste of time. Information was different every time you spoke to them and we wasted over a month trying to get an idea of cost, let alone measure and get a proper quote. After waiting for nearly a month, we realised that it would weeks till we could get a proper quote so we cancelled the site visit (apparently we would then have to go in their premises to pick materials which we could have done while waiting for the site visit). They clearly didn't want our business as only a kitchen island which is fair enough but shouldn't have wasted our time.

Had full kitchen fitted with Direct Kitchens approx. 4 years ago (2016). Only just getting around to posting this now, because I'm on the hunt, again, for new worktops - am annoyed that I have to do this so soon. These faults are not a result of wear-and-tear; all were like it from day one. Sad to have to post such a negative review. The service at the time was excellent, and I love my doors, but the quality of the worktops and the finish is really, really poor.
As you can see from the pictures, the joints in the worktops are very visible and can be seen easily because of the contrast between the worktop colour and the 'inner colour'. The windowsill is shocking. We had them out to look at this and the chip in the worktop (pictured) - they re-sealed around the windowsill and filled the chip with some kind of paste, but both came off soon after.
My biggest bug-bear is the tops of the splash-backs; the plastic warped within months and has snapped in several places. The appliances haven't been great either - the dishwasher has broken twice (impeller motor failed on both occasions and had to be replaced), the tap broke by Christmas and we had to have the valves replaced, and the microwave is so loud you can't have a conversation when it's on.
As I say, I hate having to post this. We want to support local businesses, especially at a time like this. And the staff and fitters were great at the time. But I really shouldn't have to be replacing all worktops and splash-backs so soon, especially considering that all issues mentioned (the finish and quality of the worktops - obviously the appliances broke down afterwards, but still, within the first 12-18 months max) have been like this since day 1. We've just learnt to live with it, but lockdown has really emphasised the issues, hence my review and search for new now.

Had a fully fitted kitchen installation just completed and wow. Direct kitchens have lived up to the promise of a dream kitchen at an affordable price. Carl his staff and all his trade fitters really care. about the finished product. Delivered on time and fitted professionally by jordan and james who worked with us on the installation. Love the end product. Well done all at direct kitchens.

We can highly recommend direct kitchens! They have certainly delivered our dream kitchen! From initial appointment and design consultation to fitting, the service was professional, friendly and nothing was too much trouble! The third parties they recommended for our building works were also fantastic. The whole thing ran smoothly and kept to budget! Thank you to the whole team at direct kitchens!

Carl design the kitchen and nothing was a problem. It was installed the day they said it would be. The quality of the installation was first class by Callum. The kitchen looks fabulous we are really please with it. I would highly recommend Direct kitchens. Also had wardrobe and draws fitted in a bedroom and got the same quality service.

Poor experience in showroom today. Shame because staff are nice. I made appt to discuss my needs / look at options. But it wasn't a discussion: I was just handed a long list of appliances /fittings that had been chosen for me before I even arrived! And without finding out what I wanted, without offering me any choices, I was given a quote. Sorry - I can't part with 6k just like that. My advice is don't rush your customers because it just undermines any competitive price you offer.

Had scott come out and measure bedroom and kitchen end of June and although I've made numerous calls to see if our drawing have been done or if we can call in to pick a kitchen each time I'm told someone will call you back so far no one has so I'm guessing they are extremely busy or just poor customer service?
