The boys who came to do my central heating and relocate the boiler were fantastic. They worked so hard and cleaned up behind themselves as they moved from room to room. Trevor and Daniel did the Electrical work and we're so helpful and didn't give up until the lighting was right. I cannot praise A1 gas enough. I would recommend them to anyone.

Hands down, I've never dealt with a better service provider. Came into contact with the Team at a time of crisis (condemned bolier, young kids in the house) and A1GF were our saviors. Since then (over 5 years ago now) they're the only Team I turn to and will continue to turn to. Servicing, queries, quotes, Major or Minor works. A1 by name A1 in service.

Absolutely awful company! Particularly manager Steve. Had called them our for a service.didn't do service.instead said everything is leaking.its all corroded and not safe. Within 20mins of being there. Shut off gas to boiler so left with no heating or water.although it was just a recommendation. They kept us safe allegedly but not their problem we cant afford a boiler to be replaced in full by them.

I called A1 Gas Force and explained I needed a new boiler, they came to my home, assessed the boiler and advised me I didn't need a new boiler but only needed a part replacing. This saved me a fortune on purchasing a new boiler! and now it's working perfectly.great company and professional gas engineers. Highly recommend these guys with 5 stars.

This is a detailed review; so please take your time to read to avoid wasting your money. Don't be carried away by the google reviews rating they have; DON'T TRUST IT PLEASE! They only probably know how to install a new boiler and fix very simple obvious issues you can fix yourself if you are a DIY person. If the issue is a bit tricky, they will recommend you get a new Boiler so they can make money off you; that was exactly what they told the previous occupier of my property.
I am an Engineer myself with a PhD. Here is my experience (and I can provide evidence if anyone needs it to decide): I was having issues with my Boiler not igniting sometimes. So I rang A1 Gas force to request an a boiler Engineer visit for diagnosis. When the Engineer arrived, he asked I switch ON the boiler (standard procedure); I did and the boiler ignited.
Within the minute, while he was still in my house, the boiler flame went out. We then flipped the switch OFF and ON again and the boiler wouldn't ignite. The Engineer concluded that it might be an heat exchanger problem. Everything was based on visual inspection without any attempt to check electrical signals with a multimeter. I consider this poor Engineering!
Then I called in another more competent Engineer; the same scenario of ON the first time and cutting off of ignition played out. However, the new Engineer opened up the PCB compartment of the boiler; brought his multimeter to check electrical signal values at key points in the ignition PCB and Main PCB were at their right values when boiler is ON.
In less than 30mins, he narrowed down the fault to the ignition PCB. He ordered a new one from eBay, installed and Boiler has been doing great. This saved me as the A1 Gas Force Engineer was making think I need a new Boiler. All the Boiler parameters measured by the new Engineer are also within acceptable tolerances. Trust me the new Engineer ( a fine British gentleman) was good; please let know if you need his contact, I will happily provide ( I will be checking this daily).

First time dealing with cowboy tradesmen. I was not given a reciept for a boiler service, and was later told I had not used their services, until I produced evidence. I was scheduled to have a boiler repair but found out they had not ordered the replacement parts and would have to wait a fortnight for hot water, at a cost of 220 pounds. After many phone calls I was eventually offered a refund, but only if I traveled to Coventry to collect it.
To this day I have not recieved any refund or apology. I called another company and they fixed the boiler within the same day, and at half the cost. The way I was spoken to and disregarded when I had trusted A1 Gas Force to fix my boiler, was frankly shocking. Be warned.

Visit by Ralph Winter to service Vaillant Boiler, and he was the most thorough Engineer I have ever had from A1. He checked every single aspect of the boiler, and had to drain the whole system in order to clean the Magna Filter, which I like carried out each time Boiler is serviced. This was necessary because of the awkward position in which the filter had been installed. He was extremely friendly and efficient. Efficient Engineer

They came out on the same day as asked which was great. They asked 65 (including call out fee) just to unblock a toilet! The job took no more than 3 minutes! And then after putting the tool in the blocked ganky toilet he puts it in my sink for crying out loud. First in my toilet and then in my sink?! And then he leaves the floor soaking with water from the toilet!

I have been searching for a reputed bathroom and plumbing services. I availed the services of this company and found them quite satisfactory. My bathroom and all leaking parts were perfectly replaced by the technicians. Really, I have a sigh of relief. I can't believe this company has changed the entire scenario.

Ralph was very helpful he introduced himself and explained what he would be doing. He completed his work and then tidied up. He was gave me essential advice regarding the carbon moxide detector.
