Mark Leigh Kitchens is one of the UK's longest established SieMatic dealerships. Just like the SieMatic brand, it is a family owned and run company. We have always concentrated on, and never deviated from designing and installing SieMatic kitchens. Our ethos has never been diluted by diversifying into bedrooms and bathrooms, like so many other "kitchen" companies do.
All our customers are assured of a warm welcome in our show room where ideas and needs are discussed in a relax environment. There's no pushy sales people here - just a team of experienced design staff who know how to create the very best kitchen in the space you have available. Once we have talked at length about the style of SieMatic kitchen you want and ticked off everything in your wish list, we come out to visit you in your home. But don't tidy up too much as this appointment gives us a vital opportunity to see exactly how you use your kitchen space at the moment.
Good design that lasts for decades must be well thought-out and well made- and that is how it becomes timelessly elegant. Together with top international designers, we work to provide excellence for our customers. Outstanding design and performance brings joy. This dedication underpins everything SieMatic have put their name to, since 1929.
Miele (like Siematic) is a German family owned and run businesses. They manufacture high quality commercial equipment as well as outstanding domestic appliances. Founded in 1899 they have always carried the motto "Immer Besser" meaning "Forever Better" and this message still holds true today. They are renowned all over the world for the longevity of their products and a full range of appliances of exceptional quality.

Whatever you might see on a TV advert, you do not get a quality kitchen on the cheap. Having splashed out thirty years ago, I had no wish for a new kitchen to serve as long. I just wanted a 'revamp' to the existing layout, most obviously at the wet end; i.e., at 'dishwasher, sink, washing machine corner'. I talked this over with MLK, who (notwithstanding complaints elsewhere) are up-front with their costings. In addition to major work at the 'wet end', MLK refitted doors on old units and brought new life to extensive old wooden surfaces. The end product was x 10 my expectations.

When we decided to have a Seimatic kitchen we went to Mark Leigh Kitchens in Lancaster. So much choice. Mr Bowyer helped us decide on colours and style. He came to the house to measure up and designed the whole thing. Everything went perfectly, the fitters are efficient and polite, even staying late on the last day to ensure all was well. We now have a beautiful kitchen, admired by our friends and neighbours.

Having been to a number of local kitchen design companies, we selected Mark Leigh Kitchens for the amount of ideas/information he offered us. We had a pretty straightforward idea of what we required & after a site survey we called back to Mark's Lancaster shop to look over his suggestion's. Three idea's had been drawn up for us to consider. Two which we had thought & discussed & a third completely "out of left field".
After discussing between the three of us all the options we dismissed the second & the third options, but fortunately for us, Mark had "sown that seed". On returning home to discuss more, we realised Mark's "left field" option gave us so much more than we ever considered possible (though with quite a bit more work involved) but we decided if going to go to the expense of a new kitchen, it was without doubt the option to go with.
From original order to full completion, time was getting short as Christmas was rapidly approaching, though Mark assured us, "all would be finished on time". (it was) With door to be moved, electrics & plumbing to be moved, time to get started was getting tight. The kitchen order was placed & tradesmen were booked in. The door move, studding, new floor & new door's was done by DA Crabtree (Joiner & Builder) & his attention to detail has to be seen to be believed.
The Electrician Phil Keat's & Plumber Ted West worked round the kitchen fitters & builder to make sure there were no delays & I would recommend their quality of work & helpful advice to anyone. The kitchen install team were "Fantastic" from start to finish. Graham & Tony were superb & again their attention to detail has to be seen to be believed. Simply stunning:-) Nothing (& I mean absolutely nothing) was to much trouble & the way they kept everything as clean as possible during all the dust & upheaval was brilliant. All in all, we cannot speak highly enough of Mark, his team & all that helped getting us that "Dream Kitchen". We certainly recommend them. Many thanks to them all.

We had a complete kitchen renovation overseen by Ken Needham of Mark Leigh kitchens, Lancaster. The work included some building reconstruction as well as new lighting, units, worktops and appliances. We are delighted by the level of service provided by Siematic at Lancaster. Everyone involved demonstrated high levels of professionalism, skill and respectfulness. The kitchen is a joy to use. Thank you very much to everyone involved.

Following a change in circumstances I had to cancel a kitchen order with Mark Leigh Kitchens, as a result I agreed to look alternative proposals however none were fit for purpose. As a way of compromise I offered to buy appliances and furniture using the deposit plus additional funds however this was deemed unacceptable by the company. At no point had Mark Leigh ordered any kitchens appliances so therefore was left with no old stock. The owner did not discuss the matter directly and at this moment no funds have been refunded. Stay clear!
