Starting 50 years ago in 1968 as a small worktop manufacturing company, located in a residential building on a three day week, Dunstable Laminates has grown from strength to strength. Creating airport security counters, school computer desks, shop counters, etc. saw the company exceed the limitations of the original premises.
We offer an extensive range of stylish, durable and affordable worktops. With hundreds of colours and textures to choose from, we've got the perfect solution for your home, retail, commercial and office worktops. Many of our worksurfaces are available with a matching upstand and splashback for a seamless hygienic performance.

In 2017 I had a work surface installed in my dental clinic disinfection area by Dunstable Laminates. This type of work surface was recommended by Dunstable Laminates for a disinfection room which they were aware of had certain requirements. The room would on occasion have slightly higher temperatures than normal, the surface in one area could get wet and equipment was to be placed on the surface.
In May 2021 a crack in the work surface was noted and Dunstable Laminates were made aware of this situation. On initial inspection the employee of Dunstable Laminates stated that this was the incorrect work surface for this environment.surprising as they had recommended this surface and installed it. They then stated that this was not covered under their warranty as any fault with the fitting or the surface would have occurred within 3 months of fitting.
I guess that despite the offer of a warranty, it is not Dunstable Laminates problem after 3 months. So, a 3 MONTH WARRANTY FROM DUNSTABLE LAMINATES is all that its customers get, despite the contractual obligation that they give their customers. I have protested that this is unacceptable, and the excuses have come thick and fast. -Its the wrong type of surface for this environment.
It was recommended by Dunstable Laminates. -The environment is to damp. They were aware of the surface required for this environment, which is not generally damp as there is an extractor fan continuously refreshing the air. -The work surface is wet. The damaged area is not near the wet area. -The equipment is to heavy for the surface. The equipment is no heavier than a normal kitchen microwave.
In fact the damaged area is where the lighter autoclave (sterilisation machine) is placed. -They have offered a discount on a replacement surface. This again negates any warranty that is legally in place. The new surface would cost with a so called discount over 3000.00. They conveniently don't offer free fitting and plumbing services. Dunstable Laminates have proved to be dishonourable, dishonest, unreliable and do not have any intention of honouring any warranty that they provide to their customers.
After 3 months the problem is yours. Legal action is pending and I intend to publish the result of this on every forum available. Stay away from DUNSTABLE LAMINATES.there are 100s of companies who would do a better job and give you a warranty that is fit for purpose.
