This year we decided to renovate our most used room, the kitchen. As mentioned in review a few years ago, we were lucky to inherit a Cambridge Kitchens & Bathrooms kitchen when we bought our house (2009), one of the main reasons for buying the house was the incredible oak kitchen. It's testimony to the quality of the original kitchen that after 17 years of use, it's still solid and functional.

So rather than replacing the kitchen, we discussed with Cambridge Kitchens & Bathrooms on what we could do to refresh our well-loved kitchen. Their expertise and understanding were superb, they spoke about different options to suit our budget and realistic time scales. We were thrilled that they offered a renovation service and recommended a complete repaint of the kitchen.

We were shown colour samples and door handles options, we even brought them home to see how they would look in different parts of the room. Our tired appliances (dishwasher, fridge and freezer) were even replaced with newer modern replacements as part of the renovation service. The whole process was carried in less than 3 weeks, including dismantling the doors and end panels, building temporary carcasses to allow us to use our oven and fridge whilst the renovation was underway.

We were given regular updates on how the job was progressing and booked in a refit before we knew it. The refit of the newly painted panels was undertaken by 2 very experienced in-house fitters, they were very clean, quiet and courteous as both my wife and I work from home. With the new appliances installed, new updated LED lighting throughout and beautifully painted doors, we are completely overwhelmed with how good our new kitchen looks.

Even now 4 weeks later I'm still shocked every morning when I come into our kitchen, it looks incredible. Friends and family cannot believe it's not a completely new kitchen. Thank you so much CKB for your brilliant professional service, we cannot recommend you enough for the incredible job you have delivered. So much so we are already in the process of renovating our bathroom with your designer Chris.

We are delighted with the workmanship and finish of our new kitchen. The design works brilliantly for us and we cannot fault any of the craftsmen who came and worked on it. Our only gripe would be the communication between operations manager and ourselves. He was difficult to get hold of and often wouldn't take our calls. We had to, instead, contact our designer who was our go between.

The world wide shortage of microchips made life difficult for Cambridge kitchens and occasionally us but they managed to get our project finished 7 weeks after it began, just in time for Christmas.

Excellent quality, bespoke kitchen. Cambridge Kitchens and Bathrooms, designed, made and installed our bespoke Kitchen following a large extension. We were kept up to date and well informed at every stage of the process, nothing seemed too much trouble and everyone I dealt with was knowledgeable and polite, especially Neil - who was a fountain of good advice! We are so happy with our dream kitchen, especially as it came from a small, independent Cambridge company! Which are few and far between these days!

These guys are brilliant. They've completed 2 kitchens and a bathroom for us over the past 4 years and have just started on another bathroom. Their design service has always been superb, their installers courteous and efficient and their after sales service of a "no fuss, we'll sort it" nature. Unlike some other businesses we've dealt with, their senior managers and owner are extremely accessible and helpful.

One of the kitchens (the largest one) was installed whilst we were on holiday for 2 weeks. Just gave them the keys and let them get on with it. Came back to a completed install and very tidy house. Haven't told them yet but there's another kitchen and bathroom on the horizon for next year! If you want a one stop shop for everything including building trades these guys are definitely for you.

We have just spent the last 5 months dealing with these people, in relation to 1 en-suite bathroom. Without question, it has been the worst experience of any home improvement company that we've ever had. I'd be here all day if listed out the things that they messed up in the design and supply process - I think the toilet was the only piece of bathroom furniture that we didn't have an issue with!

What's worse is that the person that supposedly has oversight of installation is the most obnoxious, unhelpful person I've ever spoken to, and totally incapable of accepting responsibility. The one saving grace is that Cambridge C&B sub-contracted the actual installation of the bathroom to a fantastic local building company, who have worked in extremely difficult circumstances to give us the bathroom that we wanted.

We are delighted with the service, quality and choices of kitchen we had installed during the challenging time of 2020. Despite giving very short notice during the first lockdown, we received exceptional, professional, thoughtful, practical advice. I was rather flapping with worry about timelines and lockdown, but Dan made us an appointment that day and came up with drawings and ideas which were refined over a couple of weeks so we were able to order a beautiful kitchen within our budget meeting our timelines.

I was impressed that Cambridge Kitchens ensured they liaised with our kitchen builders we had already appointed, to make sure they had all the information they required to fit the kitchen correctly. There was one delay in receiving a dishwasher due to Covid but this was just a few weeks and all down to lockdown causing an unprecedented demand in unprecedented times. We'll be back for bathrooms soon.

We've recently had our kitchen installed by Cambridge Kitchens, and are extremely pleased with everything they have done. From the very beginning, we found our consultant, Paul, to be very good in coming up with design ideas that would best suit our kitchen space, accommodating all the features that we were after. Both Chris & Graham, the fitters, were very efficient and helpful, answering any queries that we had during installation. The end result is so much more impressive than we could of imagined and we would recommend Cambridge Kitchens to anyone. Thank you so much.

Had a kitchen designed and installed to a very high standard. They were able to accommodate all our needs and wishes and came up with a great kitchen design. The price was very competitive and they were also able to offer very good deals on Neff electrical goods. Also a note on their in-house fitters, these guys were really good, on time and got things done very quickly.

Superb workmanship and professionalism from design to installation. We had a real mess of a kitchen completely transformed into a modern, efficient space. The care taken to get things right throughout the process was impressive and the skills of the team delivered an excellent result. Highly recommended for their comprehensive approach. CK&B won hands down for their ability to deal with the whole kitchen rather than just the 'dry fit' of units.

My kitchen is unusually small and many designers were very half hearted about trying to re-design it to maximise the work surfaces and cupboard space. Erika the designer from Cambridge Kitchens was completely the opposite and worked hard and with great enthusiasm to find the best solution for the space. The fitter, Graham was highly competent, hard working and unfailingly cheerful throughout the installation and all the staff have been outstandingly friendly and helpful during the entire process. I am a very happy customer and would highly recommend Cambridge Kitchens.
