We are a family run business based in Shefford, Bedfordshire, and have been designing and installing kitchens across Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire since 1971. We have two small teams of staff - one based in our Shefford showroom taking care of the kitchen designing and administration and the other is our installation team who is busy making your dream kitchen come to life. It is important to us that you will always know who to expect when you call or visit our showroom, and also when we come to install your kitchen.
We invite you to visit our extensive showroom in Shefford, which features 12 display kitchens in a range of different styles from traditional to contemporary, along with a wide selection of appliances and worktops. Our showroom displays and samples can help you visualise your dream kitchen and inspire you in the ways to use your space in the most effective way.
We offer a stunning range of German kitchens available in a contemporary handleless design, a flat door design with handles, or a shaker style door with handles. Available in a wide range of different colours and finishes such as matt, gloss and lacquer, we can create your ideal kitchen to suit your style.
New Kitchens believe if you're upgrading your kitchen you should upgrade your appliances to get the extra WOW factor. We work closely with suppliers and are able to source a wide variety of all appliances. Our main suppliers including Neff, Siemens, Caple, Blanco, Franke and Quooker. Over the years we have used many professional companies and servi ces, but we have never encountered anything like the truly exceptional service we have had from New Kitchens. We are really delighted with the finished kitchen which we anticipated to be quite a stressful experience as we knew we would be without a kitchen for a couple of weeks and the project involved knocking down a wall between our kitchen and dining room and the replacement of floors and ceilings.
We were completely wrong as everything was organised for us and they even set up a temporary small kitchen for us to use while the usual one was out of commission. Without exception everyone we met from New Kitchens was a pleasure to deal with and the fitting team of neil and grant were outstanding in their professionalism and attention to detail.
The whole job was project managed for us and they used their own recommended plasterer and electrician so everything went smoothly and we didn't have to wait for other specialists to come in. All the guys were considerate, clean and tidy and a pleasure to have in our house. Several times they went the extra mile for us with extra personal touches like neil coming over in the evening to reinstall the toilet for us when he knew we were anxious about not having one. Claire drove round our house to bring a late arriving sink so that it could be fitted for us in time for the weekend.
The whole job was finished in half the time we anticipated and as we look back it couldn't have gone any better thanks to the team's excellent work, professionalism and dedication. The design which Rachael patiently produced for us is a pleasure to use and works and looks brilliant. We had our new extension kitchen fitted by New Kitchens in 2004. We needed some maintenance doing on the doors to a carousel in 2015 and more recently needed the valves in taps at the main sink replacing. Neil Chouffot did all of it very very efficiently. What excellent care, service and attention! You will be hard pressed to find a better outfit to look after you.
