The second fitter has just left, second day lost in my life waiting as no time is given, the first fitter did not leave till 19.00hr 4 days ago. Was it a big job? No just new doors but it would seem that the salesman and the surveyor, who comes to check the dimensions, have difficulty with using a tape measure, 2 doors the wrong size so cupboard contence 4 days on dining room table. I see from other reviews things are not good. No goodwill gesture no apology doors look good. Staff on phone also need customer service training very poor one was a director

In my experience - this company is anything but magic. Having suffered months of delays to get my kitchen fitted, there was no apology or even of a good faith discount. A repair job was booked in five times, never to be expedited. In the end, I gave up. Overall, an unpleasant experience and not a company I could in all good faith recommend.

I wouldn't advise using this company as after a 5 month wait for the kitchen to be made it could easily have ended up being a complete disaster. Kitchen Magic are never wrong they expect the customer to fully remember the entire conversations that took place 5 months ago. The communication between planner and surveyor and customer really needs addressing.
We removed the very old housing unit for the boiler and had to pay an additional 160 for them to make a new one. I wouldn't recommend retaining old carcuss's it just doesn't look like the finished article. Having said that we were very fortunate Kitchen Magic sent us Adam who is a very professional and talented fitters who did a magnificent job.

Just had a large scale kitchen renovation completed to more than our expected satisfaction. The job was costed in August 2021 with a start date of January 4th 2022, the first day back after Xmas and New Year. 9am on January 4 th they arrived. Sadly one fitter was I'll and stayed away from the house all day. Phil carried on alone and finished a three day job alone on day 4 - a remarkable effort.
His attention to detail was fantastic throughout and all that he concentrated on was pleasing us regardless of the long days he worked to keep to schedule. My wife and I are delighted with every part of the experience and have no hesitation in recommending Kitchen Magic.

We had a kitchen replacement of kitchen doors and worktops. I can't begin to describe how awful the service and quality of doors and worktops are. 3 years later the doors have all blown and the whole lot needs doing again. The quality is absolute rubbish and customer service is rude inefficient and totally uncaring. Please do not use this company -we were ripped off.

I am a general builder for over 30 years. Kitchens and bathrooms are my area of expertise and I have fitted hundreds of each. Sadly a long time customer of mine used this company as I was too busy when they called me. They were charged nearly 9000 for some new frontals and a laminate 38mm worktop. Just to be clear the worktop costs 60 plus vat in Howdens and the frontals are approx 30 each.
The job in total should of cost approx 2000 maximum. This company should be avoided at all costs. I tried to speak to the salesman on behalf of the customer to question the quality of the materials for the costs they charged and he just shouted at me and argued. Then hung up. Please everyone avoid this company at all costs

Having rung this company at different times of the day with no answer. I finally got answered by a woman who I think I disturbed from a deep sleep. I asked her for a brochure but didn't ask for my address. I asked to maybe book for someone to visit & give me a quote. I got told 'there's no one available at the moment' could someone call me back then.
She said 'yeah ok' & hung up! Needless to say no one called me back & even if they had I wouldn't touch this company with a door handle. Debbie McGee I'd magically disappear from associating with this company

Absolutely shocking customer service. They take a 50% deposit without committing to actually performing the work, hold onto your money for over a month, and then cancelled the job. Takes a further 2-3 weeks to refund your deposit - is this a scam? Complete waste of time and effort. Avoid at all costs.

This company came to do a remodelling of my kitchen to include a new gas hob and a new sink. Unfortunately, after a good start, the second day proved to be disastrous after I found this morning to be a leak under the sink. I found the fitter to be complacent and a bit arrogant, to a part where he actually said I don't do leaks. Fortunately, I observed the fitter completely whilst doing the sink part of the job after reading some of the negative reviews on that day to avoid using my washing machine and dishwasher until a qualified plumber at my extra expense can process a full safety check.
I am astounded that a certain celebrity put there name to a TV advertising this company's product. Too expensive and apart from the basic completion of fitting the doors, nothing else good to comment about the product. There was one very small part missing which the fitter even though he said he would speak to Kitchen magic over the phone did not. Also, on the second day, he did not clear the remaining old parts, as I had to do it myself.

Wow! What a fantastic experience I have just had with Kitchen Magic! We had new doors handles drawers worktop extractor hood and it looks amazing! Special mention to our fitter Kes who was THE nicest guy and his attention to detail was first class. We are beyond pleased at the work carried out and was at the fraction of the cost of some quotes I received from local companies. Ignore any negative reviews as honestly this company are fantastic! Well done to everyone at Kitchen Magic

We decided to update our kitchen last year and use this fantastic company to replace truly hideous uneven and peeling cabinets to delightful, gorgeous glass insert and real wood. We had their surveyor at our request to determine sizings and compatability for our needs directly after their sales guy visited to discuss preferences. We arranged a date at mutually convenient fitting and the work was complete in a day. So so happy with our choice, lovely kitchen we love spending time in it either for a coffee or chatting whilst preparing dinner.

Critical: Professionalism The no obligation home visit and quote felt very much like an obligation, no time to think it over or consider options after receiving the quote. Seemed to be a hardship for the rep to have visited. I understand wanting to make a sale but I'm not making a big money decision like that on the spot.

* Shocking customer service * Overpriced * Poor quality products I could have written a very long review here, but after 3-4 months of battling to get the kitchen sorted out after a shocking fit to begin with, having a large number of issues with the quality of the initial fitting (with some being very serious) I simply cant be bothered spending any more time on this.
Now i know someone from the company will possibly put a comment on below either blaming me or trying to water the issue down so ask yourself once questions before proceeding with these people, or indeed anytime you purchase anything from anyone. If you only get offered a 1 year guarantee, does that shout quality product to you? that is what you get with kitchen magic (also know as the kitchen restoration company) i am happy for anyone to contact me and ill show you the facts so you can make an informed decision but this is a true recollection of my experiences. what a huge mistake i made contacting this company. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Edited response by stephen after review from owner.
The response from Susan Davies is absolute rubbish! Look at all the recent responses on both reviews of kitchen magic Birmingham and the kitchen respiration company. Too many recent people saying the same things. The pictures i have uploaded are a true representation of the work carried out by this company. If anyone would like to see further correspondence about my dealings with this company or any other images, including the bullying email from the CEO then please contact me. Pictures do not lie. and trust me. your products are no where near as superior as you think.
What arrogance to slag off companies who have been trading for years and offer great quality products and put yourself up on a pedestal as if you are the only ones who can offer such products. I feel like I will have another battle on my hands soon when I try to make a legitimate claim on the guarantee which I have no doubt will either be ignored or dismissed by squirming out of it and trying to put the blame on me again. Finally, the worktop was not a true reflection of the sample card and it was disgusting. Looked nothing like it.

Ordered white doors for white cabinets and they turned up yellow on the inside which i now have to pay to rectify. Apparently the firm always supplies doors like this but did not notify me prior to fitting. The surveyor that came to measure, measured wrong so the fitter could not fit 3 of the doors on installation day. The company then arrange to come again but on the day of appointment cancelled.
They then had another fitter come round and finish the job another day but he was instructed to remove the doors if the office didn't confirm payment in full. The staff at the office were rude and unhelpful. At least they could have discounted the price to cover the cost of spraying the inside cabinets white. Who wants a white door with a white cabinet but yellow on the inside when you open it!
And several days missed work because of their mistakes. Kitchen Magic have the worst customer service I've ever come across. All they want is for you to sign a contract, take your money and then they don't care. Gangsters of the industry, beware!

Just got off the phone from Kitchen Magic, Forward Park, Corporation Street, Birmingham, B4 7DS - one of the most unprofessional companies I have ever had to deal with. Finally after 10 calls over 6 weeks dealing with what I can only say was a virtual reception service (although she did say that she did work for the company directly - if so, I would suggest they get a politer more informed person to answer their phones) 10 calls later I was finally put through to someone to talk about their kitchen doors, but unfortunately it was another person with very little knowledge, all I wanted was a guide to the price of their doors, but apparently this is impossible to do without a home visit and not only this, the kitchen has to be in place - which for me at the moment is not possible as the kitchen does not even exist, as I have found the units but still looking for doors, if I can not find the right doors at the right price then I will have to go down the complete kitchen from one supplier route, which at the moment I have not found the right doors with any one yet.
After explaining this to a rather unhelpful Kitchen Magic representative, I suggested that I could give them the complete kitchen plan with the exact door sizes, number of doors and finishes required for them to give me a price, this would save them money and time of a home visit at this stage, then once I had a price they could visit my home as many times as they liked. BUT still a 'computer says no!' answer, eventually after more time of having to talk to this rather rude can't be bothered representative, she put me through to the managing director who 'surprise' 'surprise' was just as rude, very grumpy and unhelpful - So now I understand why he's staff have such a 'can't be bothered attitude, as good manners and good customer service starts at the top! (I take back what I said about the staff - but would suggest they all stop wasting their lives working for Kitchen Magic and go and find new jobs with a better company - before its too late and their end up like their boss!).
The final result was Kitchen Magic, Forward Park, Corporation Street, Birmingham, B4 7DS, are not capable of giving a quote or guide price from a kitchen plan, (which is a big worry as they sell and make kitchens) or maybe they only sell through pushy sales people once in your home, I have chosen not to find out. But reading other reviews, Kitchen Magic seem to show you one set of sample doors and fit another, and people who have had quotes say they are 3 times the price of other companies, lucky I found out this before I wasted my time by inviting them into my home. I think the answer is always check online reviews before you buy or arrange a home visit.
