We're not normally ones to post reviews for products/services we've purchased but nearly 2 years since we first spoke with KAM Design we feel compelled to say how happy we are with our new kitchen. Eighteen months after the kitchen was installed we still admire how beautiful it looks and more importantly how practical our new kitchen area now is. The "kitchen project" was the biggest home spend we have made in the 20 years since we moved into our new build property and to that end we wanted and feel we have achieved the wow factor.
The service we received from KAM throughout the process was exemplary from the initial introduction to the final sign off. Carol, our kitchen designer was patient and understanding of our needs including our plan to remove an internal wall to accommodate an open plan feel. She provided us with a number of options/designs to maximise our space and recognise our tastes in furniture and colours (by no means and easy task!) She also assisted us with sourcing the required sub-contractors which was invaluable and meant we were able to keep to our timeline and most importantly our budget!
Once the work started, Chris, our fitter was an absolute star, a quality tradesman who is meticulous in his approach and attention to detail. He ripped out our old kitchen and kindly ensured we had an old unit available to house our old electric hob in the garage to allow us to cook whilst the building work and kitchen fitting took place. Throughout the process he always consulted us to ensure we were happy with any design/fitting decisions he needed input with.
In the end we have a quality German kitchen that was fitted in the agreed timeline and within our budget without any dramas and we love it, and given the experience we encountered, we strongly recommend KAM Design to deliver a quality service and quality product

After embarking on a self-build project, we contacted Kam Designs for our new kitchen after being recommended by friends. Our process began back in 2019. Carol was our designer and was amazing from our first meeting. She was so helpful & patient. Our initial appointment was to run through our expectations and ideas and at no point did we feel rushed or pressurised. Carol took onboard all our requests and ideas and then got to back to us to arrange a further appointment to look their design suggestions.
She was flexible with changes and forthcoming with design inputs to improve the workability of the kitchen layout. Our project has only just completed due to delays with Covid/builders/materials etc -(nothing to do with Kam) and I can honestly say Carol has been amazing throughout. Always at the end of the telephone & email if needed. We made several adjustments and additions along the way and Carol was always prompt to deal with these and nothing was too much trouble.
The delivery drivers came when arranged, were polite and helpful. The kitchen was installed by Chris. He is a quality fitter. Prompt, tidy, friendly and above all excellent at his job. He always consulted us regarding all aspects of the kitchen fitting and adjusted things where he felt it would be beneficial. He has meticulous attention to detail and his workmanship is precise. Cannot praise Chris enough.
The kitchen we eventually chose was from the Burbridge range. It was an expensive investment but worth every penny. The quality of the units/handles etc is excellent. We would not hesitate to recommend Kam Designs. Carol, Chris, and the whole team have been nothing but professional. We have a quality kitchen, installed by a fantastic fitter, designed by a lady who knows her stuff- Carol. When we are in need in the future of a new kitchen, we wouldn't think of going anywhere else. First Class.

We visited a number of places when planning for our kitchen and KAM design stood out from the minute we first visited as the best place to go. The designs were amazing and they provided suggestions which resulted in the design being so much better than I had ever imagined. Carol and the team provided an excellent service from start to finish and couldn't have been more helpful.
The fitters were also fantastic and the whole process ran so smoothly. Our kitchen looks absolutely perfect so thank you so much! I can't imagine ever going somewhere else for a kitchen in the future!

I bought a new build house which came with a KAM Design built kitchen which wasn't to my or my Wife's taste. (the house builder didn't give us any say on the kitchen design) We therefore decided to give them a visit to see what they could do and Dan was very helpful. The kitchen is excellent quality and looks brilliant.

Absolute joke and wouldn't want them anywhere near my kitchen again. We moved in to our new home in September 2020 which was a new build. The kitchen in first glance was just what we wanted. However on further inspection sadly the kitchen let's just say is was falling apart with broken carcasses, wrong colour plinths, chips in worktop, shelves missing, faults in the doors and the list goes on and on. On-site maintenance have been to try and fix things as we go along.
Credit to the developer as they have at least tried. The Kam team came at the end of March 2021 and said they do need time to book the right person in for the job. We were told by this company that they would send their best man to do the job as it does need care. 6 weeks we have waited and they sent 2 chancers to rectify the problems. They were booked in at 9.00am and didn't turn up till 11.30am only when prompted. Did a quick 2 hours and left.
They have made it even worse and we are appalled to see what they think is acceptable. None of the problems have been rectified and to add insult to injury we now have a damaged worktop and the edge trim on the worktop is not even stuck on correctly. They haven't used cabinet connectors/bolts instead just driven screws in to the carcass which they replaced and they look appalling.
Not even tried to hide them behind a hinge as anyone that has fitted a Kitchen you know what I mean. The two men were very rude, cocky and obviously didn't want to be there. We will be getting a quote to redo this kitchen which is 8 months old as what we have paid is scandalous for what we have got.

We decided to go with KAM design because of their professional and flexible approach to the designing and planning of our kitchen. We have been really happy with the quality of the units and the fitting. Claire provided the overall project management which meant we did not have to worry about timing of work etc. We are really happy with our new kitchen.

Well these guys installed a new kitchen in a new build I purchased and after 2 years it's falling apart, the door hinges are all broken (soft close) the worktop they said nearly 18months ago they where going to replace or fix has now blown, . Contacted them many times through email and left phone messages and still no response. If your kitchen has been fitted by these guys god help you. Customer care is a disgrace, quality of there kitchens is poor, so please think again

Not a good experience at all, came to snag a kitchen they fitted in a new build last oct/Nov and still waiting for the job to be done after their so called director said they will sort ASAP. As this was a new build property and I had no choice on who fitted I would NEVER off my own bat use this company. Unprofessional Rude Cowboys Now over 12months waiting and still no response or contact, just had a quote to fix and nearlly 1500!
No wonder they are not interested So you want me to email you my details again when i have sent numerous of emails and left countless of phone messages for you not to get back in touch, even the so called director you sent round gives fasle promises SORT YOURSELVE OUT

What a fantastic experience dealing with KAM. Their service was second to none, from the initial visit to plan the kitchen to every time I contacted them with various queries. Quality ready made units, and exact precision joints on the worktops. If you're after a new kitchen I can Highly recommend KAM

KAM were advised in advance that we wanted to be present while the work was in progress & had travel commitments whereby it was essential the quoted 2 week fit was not delayed and they said no problem. We allowed an extra week for the work when making the travel plans. The kitchen work started as planned. Halfway through the fit & one day before the worktop was due to be fitted we were told the product was out of stock.
As a result the balance of the work was put on hold and we had to travel.
KAM said they would look to compensation for the cost of return travel for us, as a return journey would now be required. The kitchen was completed after the return journey but KAM never responded to our request for the extra travel cost. To minimise the cost only one of us travelled back but KAM refused to address the cost issue after several attempts by us to chase up a response from them. The workmen and sales service were good but KAM's management attitude and pre-planning was not good as the one day notice of worktop shortage illustrates.
