We were so pleased with our kitchen fitted by Mother Hubbards it was beyond our expectations. The journey from start to finish was very professional. The design was done taking into account our ideas, but we were also given advice on how to enhance our kitchen space. Installation of units was efficient with each day we could see our new kitchen evolving, the quality of the units was superior.

There was good communication with all workpeople, so as one area was finished the next phase was carried on. All appliances and accessories were if the highest quality as were work surfaces and flooring. Any problems we had were quickly dealt with by John who was always available. When my husband and I decided on having a full refurbishment of our kitchen and utility room, he found Mother Hubbard's online and we immediately knew that we would be impressed by the company. John was knowledgeable and helpful from the first time we visited the showroom and continued to be so leading up to and during the refit. The cupboards that he had in store were exactly what we were looking for and the ranges of available colours and countertop options are huge. John was especially appreciated before the fitting, giving us advice when he visited our home, and opening our eyes to the limitations and possibilities that we'd not initially envisioned.

Work was able to go ahead very quickly, which we were thankful for, and we were given a comprehensive works schedule so that we knew who to expect on each day and how long each job should take approximately. Each one of the tradespeople that John hires is professional, friendly and very capable. All the work was done to a very high standard and any hiccups along the way were handled swiftly and in a proper manner.

We were kept constantly updated as to how the project was moving along and felt very confident in all of the workmen. The final finish is beautiful, beyond what we thought it would be. Everything has been made and fitted to the very highest standard and we couldn't be happier with the end results provided by the fitter Richard. We only wish that John and the team at Mother Hubbards refurbished other rooms of the house as we would hire them to tackle every aspect of the works we foresee in the future. Over all, the service that is provided and the final finish is more than we imagined and we simply cannot stop recommending them to people we know.

The process for our new kitchen and utility room was brilliant from beginning to end. We gave Richard a brief and then worked with him to get the perfect design. After working out the details and having them manage the whole thing they got to work. Their installer Richard was very detail oriented and did a great job, as did all the other trades they brought in. We can't be happier with the finished product. It's a 30 year kitchen we'll enjoy every day.

The kitchen designed and fitted by Mother Hubbards is beyond our expectations especially given some of the inherent limitations we faced. These were overcome with John's planning and design due to his vast experience, innovative ideas, can do attitude and attention to detail. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him; he would give whatever time necessary to discuss the plan and make any changes.

Since we were trying to keep costs down ( this being a holiday home) we had several quotes from off the shelf places but eventually realised it was a false economy as we were making too many compromises. Thankfully, as it turned out, for just a little more expense we have ended up with a beautiful bespoke kitchen with everything we wanted. We know from experience that in the longer term the cost will be more than made up since we have had our Mother Hubbard's kitchen at home for 18 years, I still love it and it is going strong.

Unfortunately the fridge recently failed and we couldn't find a replacement of similar size so asked John to redesign this area rather than get a new kitchen. Richard, the fitter, is a master craftsman and ensured it all fit in seamlessly. We had all the cupboard doors painted by a painter recommended by John and now have a wonderfully refreshed kitchen ( like new) that I am sure will last for a good time yet. John and Richard are some of the most experienced and professional kitchen designers I've met and it's been a pleasure dealing with them for almost 20 years and 2 incredible kitchens. We've just ordered our second kitchen from them and their help has been invaluable in making difficult decisions easier. The showroom is well worth a visit for inspiration and a feel for how things will turn out like compared to our efforts at home to colour match and tie in different themes. Highly recommended.

John designed and installed a kitchen for us last year as part of a larger project. We are delighted with the outcome. The quality of John's work and his attention to detail is excellent. He is ably assisted by his fitter Richard who did a great job too. On the back of this we have now also commissioned John to undertake a design and installation project in our bedroom. After years of enjoying our beautiful Mother Hubbard's kitchen we had a very minor repair need. We phoned John for advice and within 48 hours he had sent out a fitter and everything was fixed. Now that really is first class customer service! Having had our kitchen fitted by John and his team a few years ago we asked him to design and fit the wardrobes in our spare room. We cannot speak highly enough of the service and the quality of the workmanship. The attention to detail, skill and professionalism is faultless. I almost didn't make it to Mother Hubbards. I called John to cancel my appointment because I thought I didn't have the budget for a bespoke kitchen. However, John persuaded me that my budget was sufficient so I kept the appointment and trekked to Pudsey. I am very glad I did! On my first visit the the showroom I explained to John that I would like in-frame cupboards with slab doors and bifolding cupboards to conceal the toaster etc and he totally understood what I was looking for.

The visualisations he provided were really accurate and helped with the design process. John was very helpful with the worktop choice and even shared contact details so I could visit the factory to see a huge slab of quartz before confirming my decision. We have ended up with a functional and beautiful kitchen we love, that cost very little more than the off the shelf kitchens I had looked at.

John has been amazing throughout the process of my new kitchen project. He knows his craft well and I would highly recommend Mother Hubbard's Cupboards to any kitchen buyers. The kitchens are quality. You will be guided and supported throughout the process. And finally - wow! The finished product is amazing. Completely transformed our home.

We had our first kitchen designed and fitted by Mother Hubbards Cupboards back in 2005. The initial design, fitting and then after sales service were all excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. When it came to changing the kitchen this year there was no need to think about looking at other suppliers. The old kitchen was fine but it was just time for a change.

It was great to see that the service provided and advice given remains of the highest standard. We are delighted with the design and installation of the new kitchen.
